Individuals can think, understand abstract thoughts, and obtain intuition; conversely, AI only responds to commands provided and on information that it has learned. AI could sort a tremendous amount of information correctly, however, without knowledge of awareness, creativity, or emotions.
AI is awesome at repetitive work, pattern recognition, and problem-solving in clearly defined domains, but it simply can’t equal all the complexity of human cognition – things like empathy and moral reasoning.
